Nice photos and use of lightbox, I just learned how to use it as well... I keep being able to successfully avoid the Tulip Festival although my in-laws are from Holland (not that I have anything against tulips). I'm drawn to urban decay photos for whatever reason (Detroit, Chernobyl, etc)... I wonder what that says about my psyche?

Morning...recently I was thiniking about the factor of mentoring and the relation with TPACK. Do you think that this factor can be added to TPACK since the mentoring skill is a need nowadays to deliver the knowledge to our students? TQ!

I also agree that this is a way too strong a conclusion. I look at the issue from another perspective: If students are using Facebook that much, then why not bringing your classroom into Facebook? :) I thought about that, and wanted to give it a try. Now I have a teacher profile in Fcaebook where I have only my students as my friends and only share class-related things/photos/handouts/discussions with my students! At the same time socializing with them by commenting on their photos, etc. I think seeing such tools as "bad toys" is more like a "point-of-view" problem or "always-trying-to-blame-students" problem:)If we encourage students not to "waste" their time on these platforms and get something educational out of it, rather than blaming them for whatever they do, would be a better path to follow.

"TPACK-totin'"
eh?

Wow. I like it. It has a certain sort of "western" zing to it.
I may just get that emblazoned upon my ambigram t-shirt for the upcoming
flip-flops & shorts season.

Cheers!
